Sign of the week (BUBBLES)

Does your child love BUBBLES? Did you know that BUBBLES are not just a fun game? BUBBLES give children a chance to practice hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and tracking (an important pre-reading skill). Next time you want to have fun and practice important developmental skills, try some BUBBLES!

Sign of the week (MOON)

As it begins to get dark earlier and earlier, children will have more opportunities to see and talk about the MOON.  This is a baby-friendly version of the sign for MOON.

Sign of the week (SPIDER)

Do you sing the song "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" with your little one? For many children this song is a daily routine.  Giving your child the sign for SPIDER will give your child a way to ask to sing this song, to discuss holiday decorations, or to point out a common household visitor.

Sign of the week (CANDY)

Is is time for a sweet treat?   The sign for CANDY allows children to ask for a treat without pointing and fussing. Partner the sign for CANDY with the sign for apple to ask for a special fall treat, a CANDY apple.
